Hi people I'm a guy like many others, but let's go on with my story:
I was born in Milan Italy from Persian parents, in the late XX century, exactly in 1982. It was a hot Sunday of August after that Italy won the Spanish football world cup.
From the beginning I was so curious and my main dream was to became, an inventor nor police, aviator or that kind of things, but like Da Vinci and Archimedes an Innovationist.
Now I see how my dream was to became something so near to the ethical vision of a hacker ;) almost now this is my favorite kind of be.
I was a normal guy as usual as the other Italian children, but in 95 I've moved to the original country of my parents, this scrambled my personality, I became very shy, introversive, like some crappy philosophers, the real thing is that, I wasn't able to integrate myself into Iranian culture and into Persian society, but I learn to understand that.
The Iranian period was full of study and of intellectual punishments (some kind of masocystic behaviors in my mind), my grandma and my uncle were near like my parents and in the meantime my parents in Italy got 'really' divorced. In that period I became in contact, with my first pc, (not mine of my uncle), some times later, I gained one 107Mb partition with a sound card, dedicated to me and a 14400 modem, to connect in my first and last BBS: NedaNET. That was a big deal, but the real event that changed me a lot was when my uncle wrote a sf for his cousin behind my eyes. It was a stupid sf in Pascal, the "dooly man" to calculate some physical parameters of an arrow with a nice animation, I can't forget that. I promise myself to understand how that works, and my first move was to study mathematics harder, algorithms and equations and the basis that I thought was needed to comprehend.
Back in Italy in 98 after the soccer world cup, I was not the Old Italian Puria but a mutation, emarginated nor Persian nor Italian, something strange. Gone in a scientific branch of Italian school with some hours of informatics, wow Turbo Pascal, how lovely was programming, but that happens 5 hours in the whole academic year.
in 1999 my new dad (mom's new husband) bought me a Pentium II mmx, with a 56 internal modem, that I was not able to use because of the drivers, and some strange conf of the IRQ's, hehe, my state of socially emancipation, this time changed and I got the past rhythm of Italian guys, but not 100% full, the Iranian period changed me in my backbone. One day get formatted, for mistake the table partition, thinking in myself - "what can I do now?" there are a new OS why don't you try that? Ok let's get this fu**in gnu+linux on my Pentium. I installed a mandrake, was crappy nothing worked, I was in trouble, and not able to play with the games that all my friends used. Ah another time different from other, who cares, about them. Ah but need4speed was too cool I couldn't resist. So after two or three month I switched again.
Some times later, got the diploma and went to the Polytechnic of Turin for my studies in Electronic Engineering. I get tired, very fast, to study and study only, so begun to help and work in many Student associations. This kind of jobs helped me to know better many things, actually many of my experiences comes from that period. In 2003 I was involved in Netstudent, a Association of two people at that time: me and stan6. He proposed me to invite RMS in italy, he organized everything, and I was the host fisically, I mean RMS slept in my Carpet shop. In those days I knew Hipatia and Juan Carlos Gentile. Pah, now I'm lost and get lost in the big hole of ignorance in the world.
